Yes. To limit duplicate votes we store an anonymized identifier derived from your network address — not a name, email, or device fingerprint. Each network address can typically vote once per poll, while results stay anonymous.

No — votes are limited per hashed network address on the server, so opening incognito or clearing cookies does not allow a second vote from the same network. Using a different network or VPN can look like a new voter; cookies alone do not control the limit. People on the same network — some school or office Wi‑Fi — may share one address, so only one vote from that network counts.
How long do polls stay active?
Polls stay open indefinitely by default. When creating a poll, you can optionally set an end date (1 day to 1 month). After that date, voting closes automatically but results remain viewable.
