Frequently Asked Questions
What is a Ship or Dip poll?
A Ship or Dip poll asks your friends or followers whether you should pursue a romantic situation ("ship it") or walk away ("dip out"). It's a fun, anonymous way to get unfiltered dating advice from the people who know you best — or from strangers on the internet.
How do I use this Ship or Dip generator?
Type a description of the person or situation you're unsure about, hit Create Poll, and share the link anywhere — WhatsApp, TikTok bio, group chat, or Snapchat story. Your friends vote anonymously and you see the live results.
Are Ship or Dip votes anonymous?
Yes. Every vote is stored as an anonymized IP hash. Nobody — including you — can see who voted which way. That anonymity is exactly why you get honest answers.
Is this Ship or Dip poll maker free?
Completely free. No account, no email, no credit card. Create a poll, share the link, collect votes — all at zero cost.
