About AnonPolls

AnonPolls is a free website for making anonymous polls. You write a question, add the options, and share a link. People vote without creating an account. The results page shows how many votes each option received. There is no profile, no follower list, and no public record of who took part.

It is for groups that need a straight answer without putting anyone on the spot. Classrooms use it when a teacher wants every student to answer, including students who would not raise a hand. Teams use it for retros, planning choices, and feedback that is easier to give when a name is not attached. Friends, clubs, and local communities use it for decisions that do not need an account or an app install. A poll can be shared as a link, a QR code, or a message in a group chat.

AnonPolls does not collect accounts or names. Creators see only totals, never who voted for what. To limit repeat votes, it stores a one-way hash of the voter's network address with the vote, not the address itself. In classroom or office mode, each browser can vote once instead of each network. That mode is for a room where many people share one Wi-Fi network, so one vote does not lock out everyone else on that network. The creator turns it on when making the poll. Voters still do not sign in, and the creator still sees only the totals.

Ads help pay for hosting. Google AdSense runs on some content pages, such as guides and blog posts. Poll pages do not show ads. Creating a poll, voting, and reading results stay available without paying and without an account.

Anyone can report a poll from the poll page. Reports are reviewed, and polls that are harmful, that include personal data, or that break the rules are removed. A removed poll is no longer shown on the public lists.

Questions about a poll, a report, or this site can be sent from the contact page.

AnonPolls is built and run by an independent developer based in Singapore.
